Next week, I’m holding a Service Academy Open House – and you’re invited! Students and their families will be able to learn about pursuing a career in our nation’s Armed Forces and meet with representatives from the U.S. Military, Naval, Air Force, and Merchant Marine Academies. High school juniors or anyone 17-22 years of age residing in Washington’s Third District, can now apply for a service academy nomination through my website. This open house is an opportunity to learn about the different academies and what makes a strong candidate. Earlier this year, I selected some truly outstanding students who are now attending an academy. If you or someone you know is a young person interested in serving our country, you can learn more about the eligibility requirements and application process on my website. Applications are due by November 12, 2024.
