The Vancouver Parks and Recreation Department makes the benefits of recreation programs available to children from low-income families throughout our community and people with disabilities with support from the Parks Foundation of Clark County.

The Everybody Plays! Recreation Scholarship Program

Recreation programs promote physical, mental and social well-being. Through these programs, friendships bloom and healthy community connections are formed. The Everybody Plays! recreation scholarship program strives to ensure that these benefits are available to every child and person with disabilities in Clark County.

If your household qualifies, you will receive scholarship assistance to register children ages 18 and under for recreation programming or adults with disabilities for Access to Recreation programming.

Eligibility is based on family size and household income. The participant’s legal guardian or parent must apply and provide verification of income.  All foster children are automatically eligible and no verification of income is required.

2021 Scholarship Overview

  • The Everybody Plays! scholarship covers 50% of tuition costs for all eligible and participating children within the qualifying household
  • If you are eligible, your household will automatically receive the scholarship benefit when registering for 2021 recreation programs
  • Once the scholarship is awarded, you will not have to reapply during the calendar year
