The Seattle Foundation is currently hosting more than 25 scholarships with many limited to Washington applicants. Most deadlines are March 31, 2021, but check each opportunity to confirm.
Take the time to read the eligibility requirements before applying as a few of the scholarships are restricted to specific high schools or counties near Seattle.
Some of the scholarships that VPS students are eligible for from the Seattle Foundation:
- Atsuhiko Tateuchi Memorial Scholarship (3.0+ GPA) $5,000 renewable scholarship
- Blacks at Microsoft Scholarship (3.3+ GPA) 27 scholarships with a value of over $175,000
- Lambeth Family Scholarship – $1,000 to $3,000 renewable scholarship (application on WashBoard)
- Microsoft Disability Scholarship (3.0+ GPA) $5,000 renewable scholarship
- Nora Stone Smith – $1,000 to $2,000 renewable scholarships (application on WashBoard) for ESL/ELL students. Undocumented student encouraged to apply.
- Women at Microsoft (GPA 3.0+) $20,000 (3 awards distributed over 4 years) and $2,500 (10 awards) for women/non-binary who plan to pursue Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts or Math.
