Calling all high school athletes in the Class of 2022. If you have participated in sports in grades 9, 10, OR 11, this may be the scholarship for you! The Heisman High School Scholarship program extends the Heisman prestige to the nation’s most esteemed high school seniors by celebrating and rewarding outstanding male and female scholar-athletes who understand that the most important victories happen not only on the field, but also in their schools and communities. 100 awards will be made to the Class of 2022!
- $1,000 (88 state winners)
- $2,000 (10 National finalist)
- $10,000 (2 National winners)
Students must select one school official to review your application. The reviewer must be a teacher, counselor, or administrator at the student’s school and cannot be related to the student. Make sure to have your reviewer’s full name and correct email address—as you will need to enter this information on the online application.
- Graduating with the class of 2022
- Students who have at least a weighted “B” grade average (3.0 GPA) during grades 9, 10 and 11
- Students who participate or have participated in grades 9, 10, or 11 in at least one of sports recognized by the International Olympic Committee in the Summer and Winter Olympic Games, the Paralympic Games or the National Federation of State High School Associations.
- Students who have participated in volunteer service, community involvement or leadership within his/her school or community.
